Timi Fox
Before his hospitalization, 67-year-old Timi Fox enjoyed an active and independent life, spending time with friends and working full-time. But when his health declined, everything changed, and he faced a long and challenging recovery.
Timi faced respiratory failure, congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and a small bowel obstruction that required surgery. These serious conditions left him unable to breathe on his own and physically debilitated.
After receiving initial treatment at a traditional hospital, Timi transferred to Vibra Hospital of Southeastern Michigan – Taylor Campus, a critical care hospital specializing in extended care for patients with complex medical needs.
When Timi arrived, he required significant oxygen support and assistance with every aspect of mobility and daily living. His recovery seemed daunting, but Timi’s motivation was clear: he wanted to return to work, walk independently, and breathe without support.
With a determined “get it done” mindset, Timi tackled each challenge head-on. Supported by Vibra’s expert care team—including therapy, respiratory therapy, nursing, pharmacy, and nutrition services—he made incredible progress.
Timi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Vibra Hospital team for their care and encouragement throughout his journey.
We’re proud of you, Timi, and wish you continued success in your recovery!
